Our vision and mission
Annemieke and Klaas Biel, owners of Veluwedriehoek with wellness apartments and chalets in the Apeldoorn – Hoenderloo – Voorthuizen triangle. Our dream is to make this world a little bit better: to help you discover beautiful places (in nature), to take the veil away. Based on this experience, we offer you relaxation and development – to come out of your shell or untangle yourself.
We would like to meet you before you encounter yourself – also in the sense of having to do less. Living from what we have received, we hope to be able to pass it on. To respond from our responsibility, to be connected and to look out for others.
Our ideal began with the desire for a large house where we could share hospitality. Our hobby has grown into something outside our home, to make more people happy. In sharing together, we also want to involve those who cannot go on holiday. In addition to the Food Bank, we discovered that there is also a Holiday Bank, and we are happy to contribute to that.
If you give a positive review, you will also contribute to this cause, as €2.50 will be donated, not only for accommodation, but also for travel and pocket money.
Both coming from the social services, education, healthcare and welfare sectors, we want to do our bit for the sustainable use of our planet together with our team in this retirement phase. That is why we have replaced the wood-burning stoves in the hot tubs with gas-fired ones, among other things. We also have three apartments for assisted living as part of the dream and hope to help relationships through contextual social services and spiritual care.
Our passion: beautiful nature and culture, music, creative design and making optimal use of space. We want to make your stay a highlight by applying the three things that we love ourselves:

We want to offer you a complete experience
Arrangements and optional wildlife excursions, cultural combinations, theatre, outings, restaurants or terraces, depending on your interests.
We have apartments in Apeldoorn (city and nature) and chalets in the forests of Hoenderloo and Voorthuizen. For example, you could put together a total experience: a cycling, walking, car, scooter or e-chopper package, with multiple combinations of stays and routes through the woods between Apeldoorn, Voorthuizen and Hoenderloo, combined with fun trips and sights. That is why we named our company Veluwedriehoek.
Our accommodations are also geared towards multi-generational family stays, for which there is fortunately growing interest. If requested in advance, we can offer guided wildlife excursions, such as e-wildlife excursions, autumn burling with a nature photographer and a slide show of wildlife in the Veluwe, searching for big game (Big 5, wolf, bison), via a Land Rover or guided walking excursions, and excursions organised by Staatsbosbeheer and Natuurmonumenten, among others.
Consider combinations such as game dining, high tea, restaurant-theatre combinations, mountain biking, cycling mountain bike clinics, or staying close to your horse at a riding school and staying with us. Our locations are also close to long-distance walking routes.
